We helped a food company that processes tomatoes to build a highly efficient purification system, saving money and reducing emissions.
Industry is increasingly sensitive to the issue of energy efficiency, seeking innovative solutions to improve processes, while reducing environmental impact and energy costs.
In this spirit, between 2018 and 2019, we collaborated with a leading Italian food company in in the production and processing of tomatoes, to build a highly efficient purification system at their plant, fulfilling their need to increase production capacity.
To achieve this aim, we funded, designed and installed a fine bubble purification system with diffuser plates on the purification tanks, to allow an increase in the oxygen exchange capacity inside wastewater. Our intervention will make it possible to standardize the alteration of the three tanks by means of an aeration system that will bring several advantages:
Thanks to this project, our client has obtained an average energy saving of € 50,000 a year, certified also by obtaining approximately 75 EEC a year, and preventing the release into the environment of 165 tonnes of CO2 per annum.
