The paper industry is a highly energy-intensive sector as well as an important Italian industrial sector, with about 20,000 employees nationwide.
For WEPA, one of the main players in the paper sector at European level, Renovit has launched a project for the energy requalification of the Cassino plant, in the province of Frosinone, which will also allow the creation of a smart community with the nearby University of Cassino, among the promoters of the initiative, thus also creating value for the territory.
The intervention will be carried out and financed by Renovit through the subsidiaries TEP Energy Solution and Mieci.
